And honestly? January always feels like a blur. One minute you’re full of plans, the next you’re just trying to get back into a rhythm. If it felt messy, slow, exciting, overwhelming, same.

Just a little reminder for 2026, you don’t have to have it all figured out. The things you want, the goals, the dreams, the life stuff, they don’t show up all at once. They come bit by bit, when they’re meant to. And that’s okay.

Also… pause for a second and look at how far you’ve already come. The small wins, the big ones, the stuff you survived that you didn’t think you would. All of it counts. Especially the person you are now.

If anything’s worth focusing on this year, it’s you. Your happiness. Your health. The things that actually matter to you, not anyone else.

The goal isn’t to cook more.

The goal is to have a home that smells like apple crumble, hearty stew and fresh bread. The kind of home where something is always simmering.

Where people wander into the kitchen asking what smells so good. Where dinner takes its time.

Feeling incredibly grateful for the life I’ve created and the flexibility that comes with working from home.

Not a day goes by that I take it for granted. The ability to be present as a mum, a wife, and still make space to be myself. To work at my own pace, follow my creativity, and pause to appreciate moments like this.

I know it’s a privilege, and one I never stop being thankful for.
