Ms. Foundation For Women
Since 1973, the Ms. Foundation has led the charge for equity and justice for all.

Continuing #AANHPIHeritageMonth, guided by civil rights leader and trans activist Cecilia Chung.
Progress comes with collective action — when we work together, we achieve more than any one person ever could alone.

Patti Russo is the inaugural recipient of the Teresa C. Younger Award! We were so thrilled to honor her at our recent gala with this new award, which recognizes leaders whose most enduring legacy is the leadership they cultivate in others — a core tenet of both Teresa and Patti's leadership. We're proud to recognize trailblazers like Patti, who continues to center and uplift women and girls in Connecticut and across the nation.

This one is for the activists, the scholars, the organizers, and everyone who has ever felt written out of the story.
Erased & Reclaimed is a national conversation with NYT bestselling author Dr. Anna Malaika Tubbs, @FEMINIST Co-Founder Aisha Becker-Burrowes, and journalist Danielle Robay on the 250-year-old system that was never designed to include us. Join the conversation on May 21st at 5:30 PM PST — RSVP at the link in bio.
Hosted by @womensfoundca, Ms. Foundation is proud to be a partner for this virtual event alongside @feminist, @genderjusticephilly, @3wavefund, @womendonors, @wfcolorado, @womensfndnmn, @womensfdnsouth, @womenmovingmillions, and Impact Collective.

We're still abuzz with the announcement of Tracy Sturdivant being named as the next Ms. Foundation President & CEO, and so are others! Thank you @fortunempw for the feature.
As Tracy said, "Every issue — every single issue — is a women’s issue. The economy is a women’s issue. Democracy is a women’s issue. AI is a women’s issue. Climate is a women’s issue. Education is a women’s issue. Safety is a women’s issue. All of it. And women are being asked to weather this storm without the resources, the representation, or the respect we deserve.
But they did not count on us. They did not count on an organization more than 50 years in the fight — that knows 50 years was not a finish line. It was a foundation. That everything we built was not the ceiling. It was the floor."

We were so honored to recognize Fatima Goss Graves of the @nationalwomenslawcenter during our Women of Vision Awards.
Last week's event was a powerful reminder of the incredible women and organizations fighting for a more just and equitable future for all. Learn more at the link in bio.

Kicking off #AANHPIHeritageMonth with wise words from the first woman of color elected to Congress, Representative Patsy Mink!
This month, join us as we celebrate the incredible contributions of Asian-Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders to our society and culture.

This evening, at our Women of Vision Awards in New York City, we celebrated a powerful moment of transition and possibility—announcing that Tracy Sturdivant will become the 10th President & CEO of Ms. Foundation for Women.
Tracy is a movement strategist, a widely respected leader, and a dynamic force with decades of experience at the intersection of culture, democracy, and philanthropy. Her work has sparked national conversations and driven real impact around gender equity and civic participation in communities across the country. She is the right choice to steward Ms. Foundation’s next chapter.
We also move forward with profound gratitude for Teresa C. Younger, whose 13 years of bold, transformative leadership not only strengthened the Foundation, but expanded what’s possible for our work. Because of her visionary stewardship, we enter this next chapter with clarity, momentum, and a strong foundation to build upon.
We mark this transition clear in our purpose and firmly grounded in our mission: to build power with women and girls and invest in those closest to the solutions.
Read a message from Board Chair Charline Gipson about this transition and what’s ahead on our blog.

Tonight's the night! The 2026 Women of Vision Awards are made possible thanks to our generous sponsors. We can’t wait to celebrate with you this evening! #wov2026
