The Exotic Commodity of Burlesque", Imogen Quest is a genderqueer, mixed-race, Indo-Guyanese, multi-disciplinary artist. They are primarily a burlesque artist, drag king, and award winning clown. They have been well received around the world as a designer, curator, and nightlife entertainer for over 15 years. They often use a variety of performance mediums (including burlesque, clown, and drag) to explore the white gaze on brown bodies. They are a member of Les Femmes Fatales Women of Colour Burlesque as well as the force behind queer clown collective #ClownsKillEmpires.
