Have you heard of Envision Festival?
What most people don’t know is that it was birthed from my wedding.
When I first moved to a tiny town of 400 people in Costa Rica, I felt like the lone wolf, hungry for community, hungry for connection.
I was inspired every time I presented at transformational festivals where people gather to dance, express their truth, and remember what it feels like to be fully alive.
So when I proposed to my partner, we celebrated with a 3-day wedding festival. Out of that celebration, a friend turned to us and said:
“You should start a festival.”
And so Envision was born.
Birthed on our land in 2011 at @danyasa_yoga_retreat in the heart of Dominical.
What started small has now grown to host over 10,000 people a year, bringing a wave of like-minded community and new energy to this corner of Costa Rica.
Envision was created as a platform, not only to gather and connect with people from around the world, but also create an inspired platform to support seekers in connecting to their dreams and visions and recognizing they have the power to manifest and dance their dreams into being in a high frequency collective of likeminded seekers.
We are forever grateful that we took the leap to birth it into being. And after three beautiful years of stewarding Envision, we chose to step away in 2013, to pour our energy into expanding Danyasa Eco-Retreat and birthing Temple Body Arts School.
Because what Envision taught me is this: the epidemic of loneliness can only be healed when we come together.
And just recently, sitting in a room of 1,000 visionary leaders at Living Brave Live, I was reminded again: we are not here to do this alone.

YET - it was saying YES to myself and spending my last dollar to attend that shaped the leader I am today.
It was there that I met @anyahdevi , where we connected on our passions for ancestral lineage Healing for our future generations, even though I had not yet birthed my daughter.
Our souls recognized each other… and the following year, during our ordination as Temple Body Priestesses, we birthed the Awaken To Your Sacred Soul Retreat — a transformational experience for men and women devoted to awakening their sacred purpose.
Six years later… it is still changing lives. ✨

One of the biggest misconceptions about leadership is that confidence comes first.

Back in 2020, I stumbled into one of Sofiah Thom’s online summits during a pivotal moment in my life, and something ancient awakened in me.

In 2019, I was witnessed as I took my vows to honor sacred sisterhood. 🌹
I was held by women who saw me before I fully saw myself.
My Temple Body Arts sisters within @templebodyartscollective cried with me as I began remembering my divine essence, my feminine artistry, and the medicine I came here to carry.
Not only did I blast open… I never looked back.
I left behind my path as an elementary school teacher of 11 years because something deeper inside of me had awakened.
For the first time, I truly trusted my gifts.
Through ceremony, dance, devotion, pleasure, prayer, and sisterhood, I began reclaiming parts of myself that had long been waiting to rise.
And one of the most beautiful gifts of this path has been the lifelong global sisterhood created through Temple Body Arts.
