🕊️With deep heartbreak 💔 and sadness, I announce the passing of my beautiful mother, Veronica Viola Nickens, whom was called home to rest on December 28th, 2025.
She was one of the most selfless individuals I’ve ever known, always going above and beyond for family, friends, and anyone she cared for. Her home and heart were always open to others. She poured herself into countless individuals, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was deeply passionate about cooking, and her culinary talents brought immense joy to all. She also had an amazing sense of humor that could light up any room.

She held an unwavering faith in God, which guided her through every moment of her life. She was present for every milestone in my life, not just as a mother, but as my caretaker and my best friend.

Though words can never fully repay all that she’s done and sacrificed, I am eternally grateful for her love and devotion.

Her legacy of kindness, warmth, unwavering faith, culinary passion, and the countless lives she touched will live on in all of us. I Love You Ma!  😘💨💜                                                                                      Funeral Services will be held at Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church on Wednesday January 14, 2025. Visitation starts @ 10am & Service starts @ 11am. In honor of Mama..the family asks that you wear some purple 💜! #LoveIsLove #BondingTimeWithFamily
