11 years ago, I lied in a job interview to get my foot in production. The agency needed someone who knew how to use After Effects and help them animate brand films. I said sure, no problem. But I only had one semester and 3 goofy looking projects worth of experience.
But, I knew I’d figure it out. Each project became a different lesson learned, and a new level of storytelling unlocked.
This is for the awesome collaborations that led to friendships, the shared wins, those glorious moments you pull off an effect you were unsure you could, and the amazing stories told over the last 11 years.
Here’s to the next 11 years. I wonder what amazing stories we’ll tell next.

Recently created a logo animation for a small film production company. They sent over an Ai generated animation as a reference and asked me to tweak it. Rather than to touch it up, I rebuilt it from scratch in an hour and a half.
Sometimes “small tweaks” aren’t so small if you want a solid final product.
