Julia Wolf has shared a new track, her first of her own in just over a year following a whole host of collaborations in the meantime.
Titled 'Deep End', it is alternative perfection, an atmospheric, off-kilter, jangly mesh of sounds and sentiments, all rooted in the feeling of keeping a fire burning in whatever way possible. It's gorgeously catchy, wonderfully unique and one hell of an earworm. The beginning of a very exciting new chapter.
Julia had this to say about it, stating, “‘Deep End’ is about the confusion of someone’s mind and the way I’d drown to keep a connection alive, while going through the distractions and doubt I experience in the process.”

Taste of Chaos is back for the first time in ten years, and they have delivered a line-up that will have the floor shaking.
Hollywood Undead and In This Moment will be co-headlining the run, with support coming from I See Stars, Vana, and Melrose Avenue. A bit of something for everyone, from legends of the scene to best of the here and now.
Tickets will be on sale from June 03 at 10am local time.
Knocked Loose brought a seething, savage and sensational performance to Slam Dunk Festival this past weekend, including a caustic run-through of latest single ‘Hive Mind’.
The band have announced a US headline tour alongside track collaborator Denzel Curry, with further support coming from Superheaven and Boundaries.
Knocked Loose are also on the cover of the latest issue of Rock Sound. Pick up your copy now from SHOP.ROCKSOUND.TV 🔗 in bio

RØRY has announced the details of their brand new full-length album.
Titled 'BLOODLETTING', it will be released on September 04 via SADCØRE RECORDS. It serves as the follow-up to last year's debut album 'RESTORATION'.
RØRY had this to say about the record, explaining, "I realised I was sick from being nice. I’d spent so much of my life being the bigger person, forgiving people, understanding people, making excuses for people. I’d become disconnected from huge parts of myself. BLOODLETTING was about reclaiming them.”
The album will feature previously released tracks 'DEGRADATION', 'DEAD GIRL WALKING' and 'KIDS THESE DAYS'.
It will also feature freshly released track 'STRANGE', a beautiful ode to the fact that things do get better but how odd it is when you're out the other side of the darkness and looking back on where you once were. It's the sort of tear-jerking, honest and brilliantly rousing song that nobody can craft quite like RØRY.

Riot Fest have announced their line-up for 2026, and, wow, it's a beauty.
Twenty One Pilots, Pierce The Veil, Rise Against Alkaline Trio, The All-American Rejects, Taking Sunday, Bad Religion, Pennywise, PUP, and Motion City Soundtrack are just a few of the names up top.
And further down, The Paradox, Holding Absence, The Callous Daoboys, Daisy Grenade, Arm's Length, Fleshwater, Show Me The Body and more are also going to be joining the party.
It's big, basically.
Riot Fest will be taking place at Douglas Park, Chicago from September 18-20. Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW at www.RiotFest.org

Shinedown ‘EI8HT’ | The Album Story
Brent Smith takes us through the deep craftsmanship and consideration that has gone into the making the band’s wondrously human new album.
“Anytime there’s a fork in the road, don’t just take the safe way. Go in the other direction and see what’s down that road. You can always circle back, but don’t turn back. I think it was important for us to understand that.”

Kid Bookie has announced all of the details of his long-awaited new album 'Cheaper Than Therapy II'.
Set for release on October 16 via FLG Records, it is Bookie's first album since 2024's 'Songs For The Living / Songs For The Dead', but also serves as the direct sequel to the 2021 mixtape 'Cheaper Than Therapy'.
It is a record chock full of guests, too, with Corey Taylor, Kate Nash Lady Leshurr, Ziey Kizzy, Rose McGowan and Shona McGarty making appearances. As eclectic a selection of names as you're ever going to see.
Bookie had this to say about the release, stating, “Cheaper Than Therapy II is the closest thing to a full circle fuck you imaginable. After losing a home, a relationship, friends, family, agents, labels and more, there was a time I had no hope but a remnant of a dream and a small flame. “Cheaper Than Therapy” was always about giving the underdog their moments, not just me. An underground artist bringing the legends and stars of rock and beyond into a melting pot of post-genre feeling and mood whilst asking them to bare their truths in audio format. Bringing through similar guests from Volume 1, CTT2 aims to show that through all life throws at you, whether you’re the maverick, the disruptor or able to bring the people together, doing it on your own terms for the sake of redemption was the therapy we all needed. Welcome to Cheaper Than Therapy II”.

Guilt Trip, Slam Dunk Festival 2026
LIVE REVIEW: To finish a set with a cover of Machine Head’s ‘Davidian’ is a power move in every sort of scenario. But when it concerns what Guilt Trip just delivered, it is the cherry on top, the dot on the i and the cross on the t, the pièce de résistance of one of the most tight and tenacious bludgeonings to be experienced at this Slam Dunk, or any Slam Dunk before.
The half an hour that precedes such an impeccable ending is nothing short of astonishing. The band are celebrating a decade of flying the flag for the metallic side of UKHC, and the years spent sharpening every aspect of their assault on the senses have come to a perfect head. ‘On Thin Ice’ continues to be a perfect amalgamation of brutality and bruising groove, whilst new offerings ‘Burn’ and ‘No Love Lost’ demonstrate how intense their brand of battery is in the here and now.
All watched over by a sneering Jay Valentine, he is the perfect motivational frontman, demanding more from the masses throwing their weight around before him, whilst showing them exactly how to do it from the stage.
If you wouldn’t mosh to your own tunes, after all.
By the time that freedom is rang with a shotgun blast and everyone in attendance is allowed a moment to catch their breath, victory is already secured.
If Guilt Trip keep on hitting these heights in this stellar manner, then the UK crown is going to be theirs for the taking.
