The Vancouver Goldeneyes have been such a fun team to watch. I couldn’t be happier than Vancouver finally has a women’s team! Going to their games this inaugural season has been such a highlight for me this year. The vibe is unparalleled; such fun, joy, inclusivity and safety while watching the games. Also the sense of community is so fun to see bloom! Can’t wait for next year 🏒 🥅

Art vs artist 2025. Looking back at 2025, my artistic journey and contributions exceeded my expectations. I created a painting early in the year for an art show which was a blast due to so many of my friends showing up for me. I was able to share a small piece of my childhood and favourite snack growing up in the form of a painting. I also created a short animated film for a friends animation festival, starring Canada’s national animal. That in itself was a blast and not something I had done solely in a long time. Alongside that I stepped into the third dimension and started learning 3D animation and modelling. I know the journey is going to be long ahead of me, but I am no longer terrified of the idea of learning 3D, which is a huge deal to me. I am proud of myself for trying a new medium within an art form that I adore. And I had to add my annual Christmas card because it’s a tradition to make one. 🎄 Here’s to 2026 and more artistic endeavours forevermore. 🥂
