I’ve been busy away at work for almost 3 weeks and therefore I hadn’t planned an episode of the podcast until I got back home… but… I got a request from a Cult tribute band called L.A. Cult that will be performing this memorial day weekend in Ruidoso, NM at Jack’s Backstage. I wish I was home to properly interview them but I wanted to help however I could. Check them out this Saturday May 23 alongside a Motley Crue tribute band as well. Also, there is new music by Jane Like Fire available on your favorite music streaming platforms on Friday May 22, 2026. Support local music! Support music coming from outta town too! Love y’all!

Before you came to be, I knew I’d always want to name my future son Kal-El after my favorite superhero, Superman. I of course needed an R name to keep the family tradition too and so Ryan Kal-El Rodriguez became the name of my very own lil’ superhero. Dude, I love you so much and I truly believe you can do and accomplish everything you set out to do. I’m forever proud of you, son. You’re becoming a great lil’ man already but slow down a little bit… I need to enjoy you a lot more before you’re too cool for me. Happy 12th birthday, my boy. I F’ing love you, mijo.
