And you know what? That has scared the crap out of me…
This year, I am committed to trusting myself as a designer and leaning into what my gut is telling me.
This shoot came from my relationship with basketball.
I played basketball for 7 years. I went from not being coordinated at all to suddenly being scouted in eighth grade to train with high schoolers. By the end of my freshman year, I was on varsity.
I wasn’t the best player, but I had grit. I had power.
And that’s something that has carried me through the last 13 years.
This shoot is that energy.
It’s discipline and softness.
Structure and emotion.
Edge and intention.
