Meet Special Guests: Incirrina

Οι Incirrina είναι ένα minimal synth duo από την Αθήνα, αποτελούμενο από τους Γιώργο Κατσάνο και Ειρήνη Τηνιακού. Η μουσική τους κινείται στα μονοπάτια του cold/dark wave, με έμφαση σε αναλογικά synthesizers, σκοτεινές μελωδίες και έντονα ρυθμικά στοιχεία. Έχουν εμφανιστεί εκτενώς στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, συμμετέχοντας σε συναυλίες και φεστιβάλ όπως Plissken, Wave-Gotik Treffen, Death Disco Open Air και έχουν ανοίξει συναυλίες για γκρουπ όπως οι De Ambassade, οι Front 242 και οι Soviet Soviet. Έχουν μουσική για θεατρικές παραγωγές και έχουν διακριθεί για τη συμμετοχή τους στο “Syd Sessions Go ADAF” (2021). Από το 2019 έως σήμερα έχουν κυκλοφορήσει LPs, singles και digital releases, με πιο πρόσφατο το “Immersion” (2024). Το τρίτο τους άλμπουμ, “Trace”, αναμένεται το 2026.

Incirrina is a dark electronic/minimal synth duo, formed in 2017 by George Katsanos and Irini Tiniakou, based in Athens, Greece. They have performed extensively across Greece and Europe, appearing in numerous gigs and live stages, as well as festivals such as Pliisken, Death Disco Open Air Festival, Wave Gotik Treffen and others. They have also appeared as an opening act for “Front 242”, “De Ambassade” and “SOVIET SOVIET”. They have released a series of works since 2019, including the LPs “8.15” and “Lip Led Scream”, along with various singles and digital releases. Their latest single “Mutate” is out now on all digital platforms. Their third album, “Trace”, is set for release on May 29, 2026.

Οι SheGrewFixed είναι ένα darkwave ντουέτο από την Αθήνα, που διαμορφώνει ένα ωμό και καθηλωτικό ηχητικό τοπίο, όπου βαριά synths, παραμορφωμένα φωνητικά και τραχιές υφές συγκρούονται. Αντλώντας έμπνευση από το πνεύμα του underground post-punk των ’80s, επαναπροσδιορίζουν την ενέργειά του μέσα από ένα πειραματικό ηλεκτρονικό πρίσμα, δημιουργώντας μουσική που ακούγεται νοσταλγική και -ταυτόχρονα- έντονα σύγχρονη.

Οι Potochkine, με έδρα το Παρίσι, αποτελούν ένα ντουέτο που συνδυάζει EBM, darkwave, techno και θεατρικότητα, συγκροτώντας ένα δυναμικό και ταυτόχρονα ποιητικό ηλεκτρονικό μουσικό αποτέλεσμα.

Στις 22 Μαΐου, έρχονται στην Αθήνα για μία μοναδική live εμφάνιση, πλαισιωμένοι από δύο γκρουπ της εγχώριας σκηνής, τους SheGrewFixed και τους Incirrina.

Το σχήμα δημιουργήθηκε στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 2010 από δύο καλλιτέχνες με υπόβαθρο στις παραστατικές τέχνες, και ξεχωρίζει στις live εμφανίσεις του συγχωνεύοντας χορό, αφήγηση και σωματική ενέργεια. Το ντεμπούτο EP τους Libérez votre imagination (2016) εισήγαγε τη σκοτεινή και ποιητική αισθητική τους, ενώ ακολούθησαν το Potochkine (2018) και το Sortilèges (2021), το οποίο τους καθιέρωσε ως ένα από τα πιο ενδιαφέροντα σχήματα της ευρωπαϊκής dark electronic σκηνής.

Ο ήχος τους συνδυάζει EBM ρυθμούς, την ένταση του synthpunk και την ατμόσφαιρα της coldwave, με φωνητικά που εξερευνούν αντίθεση και συνύπαρξη: φως και σκοτάδι, αγάπη και θυμό, σώμα και πνεύμα. Η σκηνική τους παρουσία και η έντονη οπτική ταυτότητα τους έχουν εξασφαλίσει θέσεις σε μεγάλα φεστιβάλ όπως το Grauzone, το Wave-Gotik-Treffen και το Amphi Festival.

Πρόσφατα singles όπως τα Endorphines και BI συνεχίζουν να διευρύνουν το ηχητικό τους σύμπαν, επιβεβαιώνοντας τη διάθεση των Potochkine να ωθούν διαρκώς τα όρια ανάμεσα στη μουσική, την performance και το συναίσθημα.

Οn Friday 15/05, we found ourselves at Ilion Plus for the live show of the AMBASSADE, where Metaman and Irene Dendi opened the night.

Their set was built around synth-driven soundscapes that moved between trip hop and acid rave, creating a hypnotic and atmospheric mood in the venue from the very beginning. Irene Dendi’s narrative interventions gave shape to the stories behind the tracks, while Metaman crafted a sound that felt dark, cinematic, and intensely electronic.

Rather than relying on direct interaction with the audience, they allowed the music and the atmosphere to become their primary means of expression, delivering a cohesive set with steady flow and intensity. It was the perfect opening for the evening, setting the tone for everything that followed.

Amid the heavy synths and icy rhythms, the lyrics seemed to hover above the crowd, adding even more weight to the set’s dark and hypnotic atmosphere.

We are already looking forward to their next live set.
