Camila Arroyo is a Mexican choreographer, director, and dancer. Camila’s work seeks to expand notions of the choreographic by playing with embodied experiments in dance, film, video, movement improvisation, performance, and critical theory. Her recent research focuses on the figure of the dancer and its critical, philosophical, political, and creative potential. Camila holds a PhD in performance studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied choreographic experiments in Mexico under the guidance of André Lepecki, Fred Moten, and Diana Taylor.
Ricardo Daniel Rodríguez Rojas (Monterrey, Mexico, 1989) is a dancer, choreographer, visual artist, and teacher currently based in Mexico City. His work draws inspiration from contemporary popular culture phenomena and their relation to current sociopolitical contexts, addressing essential human themes such as leisure, rhythm, and the construction of collective imaginaries. He is the founder of the performance practice space El Entresuelo in Mexico City and of the training program PERMANENTE, focused on movement research from an expanded dance practice that engages bodies beyond the traditional stage performer.
