Losing pitches is tough—especially this one. In October 2024 and on invitation by @kunsthauszuerich we presented three design approaches for its soft redesign, aiming to create a cohesive visual identity, enhance recognition, and reflect the institution’s self-image.
In close collaboration with @silvanpossa we proposed three concepts:
📌 ARCHITECTURE AS KEY – Celebrating the New Building
Inspired by the link between the Chipperfield extension and the historic Pfister building, we developed a structured, line-based design that organizes content and creates playful visual spaces.
📌 TRANSITION AS KEY – Embracing the Interim Phase
A restrained, more neutral design ensures a seamless transition toward the 2027/28 redesign, maintaining clarity while reflecting the museum’s evolving identity.
📌 LOGO AS KEY – Strengthening Visual Heritage
By reintegrating its original typeface, the Kunsthaus Zürich logo reinforces its visual heritage, while a refined identity as “Kunsthaus”highlights its status as Switzerland’s most comprehensive museum.
Thank you @kunsthauszuerich for the opportunity!
Please note: All images are mock-ups. The displayed content refers to past or future exhibitions and is based on the information available to us at the time.

From structural questions and technical feasibility to coordination, design and project management — website for Reseda.
The site gives an overview of the furniture range, explains each piece, links to preconfigured examples and at its core: a configurator that allows every variation to be visualized and calculated.
This project was only possible through close collaboration with @aceed_wizarrd @alaeber Andreas Niederer, @eneatoldo Nicola Haggenmacher, Olivia Niederer and Tobias Gemperli.
Thank you for joining forces. Website still in the making.
Client: @reseda_furniture
Creative Direction: @role.std @eneatoldo
Web Design: @role.std (@lea.romana @ycoco___ )
Development: @alaeber
Configurator: @milkinteractive
All set in Reseda Gothic.

Customized Reseda Gothic — a glimpse into the making of the type specimen, developed by @role.std @ycoco___ @lea.romana and @free_bernie
Rooted in Bell Gothic — a typeface originally designed for telephone directories and small point sizes — Reseda Gothic serves as the typographic foundation of Reseda’s soft redesign.
The specimen not only celebrates the typeface itself, but also reflects on ten years of Reseda: its campaigns and visual language, while placing the type in dialogue with the formal qualities of the furniture.
More to come soon!

Santa Claus approved, briefing ignored. Based on ‘Disobedient Santa Claus‘ @martin_groch develeoped a drawing for @rehmannmuseum_laufenburg
What emerged was not a Christmas card but a large-format poster intended for reuse as unbranded gift wrap.
Idea, concept & art direction @role.std

Girl boss vibes.
Founded seven years ago by @lea.romana, @role.std set out to foster the visibility of women in graphic design. Looking back at this past year, we feel one step closer.
Two powerhouse women, @ycoco___ and @mati_ravano, significantly shaped @role.std’s projects during this time. @mati_ravano was part of the team until spring 2025 and continues to collaborate with ROLE on a project basis, while @ycoco___ will complete her internship in February 2026.
Many thanks to @simonhabegger for this fire photo of us.
