“My Best Stussy” article ran in Stussy’s 25th anniversary book, featuring favorite selections from Hiroshi Fujiwara, T.E.T (founder of WTAPS), Shinsuke Takizawa(founder of Neighborhood, Hirofumi Kiyonaga(founder of Sophnet) and more. Man that Stussy Kyoko Koizumi staff tee that Hiroshi selected is insaneeee. Super rare, only seen this tee one time on the market as Hiroshi explained in the write up that “it is for staff the numbers are quite small and is not distributed in the world.” Also to note that Hiroshi helped produce theKyoko Koizumi album and had his hands in the 1990 marketing for the artist as he had his hands in everything in the music and fashion scene in the 1990s, still does.

PNB Nation founders Zulu Williamson, West Rubenstein, and Bruce McHayle interview shot by Choke No Joke during the Magic Show in the late 90’s. Brue talks a bit about the PNB come up and history while Zulu talks the meaning(s) of PNB name. To be noted Choke No Joke is the same guy responsible for “The Last Days of the Roc: The Rocafella Breakup” documentary.

In 2002 Supreme’s founder James Jebbia gave a rare and brief interview with Rift Trooper on the topic Supreme. Included actual imagery from the Rift Trooper zine along with downloads of the rare conversation with James stating “he doesn’t like reselling.” Only seen clips of that question and don’t remember seeing the full interview.
Dug this out while revisiting the legend @gwarizm blog.Could always find a good read still just randomly scrolling.

Cross Colours, GAT, Rudeboy, Oakley, Reebok, Versace and more featured in the wardrobe of 1996 comedy “Phat Beach”. Wardrobe fitting was on point in this film from Benny(Jermaine Hopkins) rocking the lime green Cross Colours shorts paired with the Rudeboy tee to Durrel(Brian Hooks) sporting multiple Reebok “Above The Rim” tees, Nike caps, Bum Equipment and more. Slide 5 was sponsored by 92.3 The Beat with the judges rocking 40Acres and A Mule along with Ruff Era jerseys, not to mention Ben Davis, Oakley spotting and so much more.
Swipe thru to peep everything I caught and make sure you watch Phat Beach on Tubi or somewhere if you never seen it…hilarious

In 1998 Industry Insider magazine took Karl Kani the label to the raves, club and Spring Break to create and document their own visuals from the club scene perspective. Titled “The Nightlife with KK2” you’ll spot cute club hoppers rocking pieces like that known “Newspaper” jacket, KK logo baby tees and even some tiger prints. Then swipe to slide 6 for the random Karl Kani Spring Break ad(kind of odd and wondering if Karl Kani was an official sponsor or they did this on their own) and last is the official Kani Girl ad which promoted a Kani film with the same name title.
If anybody has more info on this please fill me in or maybe @karlkani @karlkanijr can help🤷🏽♂️Super cool deep cut right here.
