HAVN is looking for public collaboration to build up a library of images that focus on the themes of renewal and regrowth in our city after a devastating, long pandemic. These images will be translated into an outdoor public art work to be installed in June 2022 in downtown Hamilton. We greatly appreciate your help! It’s with heavy hearts that we’ve decided to close the door of our physical location.
This would have been our eighth year in operation and earlier this year we were planning a re-launch with more community-oriented programming in April.
Unfortunately, amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, it’s no longer viable for us to keep the space.
It’s been a privilege and an honour over these years to host all of the musicians and artists across disciplines who have visited us from all over the world (!), as well as everyone that has come out in support. We would like to ask anyone with memorable photos and/or stories to please send them to us either through DM or to havnode@gmail.com
Our final date at 26 Barton St. e will be September 30th.

Hi everybody 👋
Amid all of this chaos HAVN has been working on recreating what this space can be! We’ve been working really hard and had planned on a big relaunch month of events and excitement for April! However this plan is obviously changing with the pandemic. Until we can move forward with workshops and events we’d like to introduce you to our revamped Patreon! You can access it through the link tree in our bio and you’ll find 5-20$ monthly donation options to help HAVN keep operating.
