Inktober day 10 (a day late) “Lich”

I nearly had this one finished last night but decided it was going too well to rush and finished it today. I don’t really care about being a day behind as much as I care about taking my time and enjoying this process.

The Lich may look familiar to you if you’re a nerd who has been playing DnD for a long time. That’s because I treated this one more like a master study and used an illustration from the one and only David A Trampier for reference. DAT was most famous for doing the art in the early Dungeons and Dragons manuals. Fun fact: I’ve always been fascinated by DnD but I’ve never played!

Also, where’s our dude???? Idk. I wanted to include him on this one but decided it would be best not to complicate things. He’ll be back soon enough… He always comes back…
