A soulful live presentation of music from the genre defying label, Dego & 2000Black preview their latest project.

With close to 50 artists releasing music on 2000Blackover the years, collaboration and the musical family continue to stretch far and wide.
27 years of continuous explorations in all areas of the groove, music from the heart and soul and the ever growing musical community. The live project includes musicians from different generations blending styles and influences, interpreting the music fresh from the latest releases to the classics of the dance floor at the core the foundation that allows the sound to transform.

Showcasing a unique musical story, the live presentation continues to deliver the fresh energy and innovation that began in the studio, an invitation to dance and celebrate the fundamental rhythm and sonic landscapes. Forays into the unnamed yet familiar territory.

Stretching, testing and pushing the boundaries beyond formulas. Interacting and responsive to the family that joins the musicians onstage with the dancers and listeners experiencing songs and stories they know well in new ways and embracing other dynamic stories and fresh for the first time.

Two giants of soulful electronic music unite for a one-off live reimagining of their works at the world-renowned Barbican Hall.

Neither need much of an introduction if you’re attuned to the TB orbit. Having only performed publicly a handful of times, this is an exceptionally rare full-scale appearance from Dego & the 2000Black entourage. They’re joined on stage by Theo Parrish — the Washington-born, Detroit-based great — and a powerhouse trio of Sound Signature vocalists: Ideeyah Supreme, Khadeeja Grace and MonicaBlaire.

Curated as part of the TB10: 10 Years of Touching Bass World Tour, the night continues their concert series partnership with the @BarbicanCentre. As torchbearers of a new generation shaped by the principles and practices of Theo Parrish and Dego, Errol and Alex Rita are uniquely positioned to realise this meeting.

TB10 transmits their ethos globally, partnering with artists, venues and like-minded musical entities for a year-long programme of club nights, concerts and intimate gatherings.
