From the announcement to election night, 98Forward led PR, communications, and events for Mayor-elect @marysheffield ‘s historic campaign. Our team helped shape the message, the moments, and the movement that carried Detroit’s next mayor to victory.

For more than 50 years, our founder Georgella Muirhead has helped tell this city’s story. 98Forward has worked with almost every Detroit mayor since Coleman A. Young, continuing a legacy of impact rooted in Detroit’s history and future. 

We are proud of this win, proud of this city, and proud to help do our part to keep moving Detroit’s story forward.

Established in honor of our founders, Bob Berg and Georgella Muirhead, this scholarship supports public relations students who demonstrate academic excellence and a clear commitment to shaping the future of our industry.

As we mark 10 years of our scholarship investment in emerging talent, we remain focused on building a stronger, more representative pipeline of communicators and leaders right here in Detroit. Congratulations to our Berg Muirhead Scholars and all of this year’s awardees!

Director of Food Programs, Frank Kubik, sat down to discuss how Focus: HOPE, in partnership with Accounting Aid Society @accountingaid, is providing no-cost tax filing assistance to the community.

Together, they highlighted the growing need for accessible financial support and how this service is helping families navigate tax season with confidence.
