I feel like Quad drums are a test of my patience and frustration levels. I struggle to balance the audio quality when recording, and then of course there's the experience of hitting rims; a problem not faced when playing snare. A loud metal reminder that you've "made a mistake."
Through the experience of pulling out the quads again, I was reminded that Creation is not about a pursuit of perfection. Creating is about letting the expression of Creativity flow through us and light us up, free from the constraints of having to do it for a specific end goal. To simply just "breathe into my life and this flow."

Alan Watts said it best when he expressed that "dancing and music more than any other arts represent the nature of this world. That it is playful, that it is sport. That it may be sincere, but it is definitely not serious. It is the doing of it itself that is important."
