concerto together with Thomas Dausgaard and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, tonight and tomorrow evening. I can’t wait! The weather here is a little bit nicer than in Stockholm as well. 😍

Last week I had the pleasure of performing Niels Viggo Bentzon’s violin concerto. It’s a really interesting and fun piece that hadn’t been played for over 70 years! It was premeried in 1951 and then recorded, but after that the music disappeared (except for the solo violin part and a piano reduction). The full score has finally been reconstructed by some geniuses including Thomas Dausgaard, Brian Santero and Nikolaj Bentzon. I had such a wonderful time getting to play it with Copenhagen Philharmonic and conductor Thomas Dausgaard, and I can’t wait to play the piece again later this spring!

Januari är äntligen här och det närmar sig konsert med Musica Vitae och violinfenomenet Johan Dalene. Senast han besökte oss var 2024 och sedan dess har vi längtat efter att han ska komma tillbaka.
Kommande konsert bjuder på ett nordiskt program som spänner över drygt hundra år med verk av Ika Peyron, Christian Sinding, Einojuhani Rautavaara och Kurt Atterberg.
