Flowers on the Edge is back for 2026

Flowers on the Edge was created by Cissy Bullock (@_wildstems_ / @schoolofsustainablefloristry) & Olivia Wilson (@_wetherly_ / @ssaw.collective) as a curatorial and campaigning project dedicated to raising awareness of season-led floral design.

We want to push the boundaries of what people expect from floristry, & to spotlight those who have committed to working seasonally & sourcing responsibly year-round - celebrating season-led floristry not as a niche, but as a serious & growing movement within the industry.

Building on the success of last year’s fringe exhibition, we are delighted to announce that, alongside an event in British Flowers Week on 18th June, we have also been invited by @flowers.at.the.house to co-curate the Strawberry Hill House Flower Festival from 10th-13th September.

For 2026, we’re doing things a bit differently, across two events designed not only to showcase a group of fiercely talented creatives, but also to celebrate the nurturing & generous spirit that sits at the heart of floristry. There are few other industries that embody this sense of community so naturally, & we want to honour the way florists continually lift up other florists.

Flowers on the Edge 2026 will feature two events:

- The Florists’ Table: A one-day immersive floral experience in London on 18th June (sign up for early bird tickets via link in bio)

- Strawberry Hill House Flower Festival: our co-curated take on the institution that is the @flowers.at.thehouse festival at @strawbhillhouse, now in its 8th year. 10th-13th September (Sign up for early bird tickets via link in bio)

Flowers on the Edge is more than an exhibition. It’s built on a belief that together we are stronger. The floristry industry consistently shows itself to be collaborative, generous, and community-driven - yet there are few public, florist-led initiatives that actively celebrate and platform that spirit.

We’re looking forward to celebrating that with you in 2026, & to showcasing floristry and floral design at the cutting edge.

Come and join us at The Florists’ Table.

A unique, one-day floral design experience bringing together 15 established florists with a new generation of emerging and under-recognised designers creating artistic, season-led tablescapes at the cutting edge of floral design.

Designed as more than an exhibition or dinner, The Florists’ Table is an immersive experience for creatives, artists, growers, makers and cultural thinkers to come together, sit among the flowers, and exchange ideas across disciplines.

Join us in the afternoon to meet the designers, watch live tablescape installations and hear our Flor-art-istry Rebellion panel discussion exploring the future of floristry and season-led design.

Or take your seat - quite literally - at The Florists’ Table in the evening, dining among the flowers and designers while enjoying a 3-course season-led meal from @the_modern_table and a cross-industry discussion about pushing back against the status quo and creating ways of working that reflect our values.

The most beautiful intimate spring wedding for Katy and Adam a few weeks ago at @provenancekitchen

We wanted to incorporate wisteria vine throughout the wedding, both to symbolise their union and the love that bound together every single person in the room, and also to connect the wedding to the spectacular wisteria that sits at the end of their road in Cambridge, which was in full flower at the time of their wedding.

Now every time the wisteria flowers, they will be transported back to their magical day.

That is what season-led floristry does so well. Truly rooting your most important life events to a time and a place - and to each other.

Is cow parsley alone a good enough reason to plan a May wedding?

🙋🏻‍♀️ I think so!

I know it grows on the verges, so some may turn their noses up at its wild or common nature, but it’s just so delicate & pretty, with such height and movement.

Living in a countryside village, it’s absolutely everywhere at the moment and I am unapologetically obsessed. It makes every drive so much more joyful.

Cow parsley aside, the British seasonal blooms - and foliage - of May are just some of the best. We can’t shout enough about using locally grown, in-season flowers. Especially when you’re getting married in an outdoor setting, it’s all just going to ‘fit-in’ so beautifully 🌱🤍

So where do you lie on the cow parsley wedding florals approach? Love it or loathe it? 👇🏼

For Katy, who married Adam today.

Might be my new favourite. Such a fickle mother.

Stop it.

And the happy bird in the background. Actually don’t stop it. You are literally filling my cup.

Can any one tell me the bird variety please?! 🙏🏻
