Honored to perform movement in my first art installation @moadsf w/ my great friend @dazaun_s and co-choreographer of our piece “Healing Intimacy” for the Black Choreographers Festival @bcfhereandnow We started working on this piece last year and have further developed it with help from the lovely @clairelle and @jordon3d accompanying us on the saxophone 🎷a free live performance you won’t want to miss! There’s 3 performances showings @ 12PM, 2PM & 4PM, come experience the intimacy of healing with us. 🧘🏾‍♂️

TONIGHT 2/6 - Eternal Echos The Soiree takes place @sfmoma from 5-8PM and I’ll be DJing for a community of artist that are dear to my heart and have lift me up @sirjoq @djjnow @crowned.majesty @nobodybeatsthebud & many more. This is also a free event so come get you some culture SF! 🖤

I discovered @kombilesami several years ago during my travels in Colombia and recently discovered that my fam @alginaligns had ties and connections to the band. The group released a new project this year and Algin brought back a vinyl record that we will experience together. We are collaborating to raise funds for the community in Palenque so even if you can’t attend, consider donating to send your support and love.

💫🔊 There’s something special about listening to sounds in dialects from across the diaspora. Whether we understand through grooves, vibrations, or the words themselves, this will be an experience that can move us and teach us about the sonic textures of liberation.

🌀Hi-Fi Listening Experience
The venue is built with love and meant to create a full body experience when enjoy the music. There are hanging speakers as well as subs inside of the floor. Therefore you will be able to feel the vibrations of the music as we listen. A yummy treat for the audiophiles out there.
