2018年に発売された「RUFF, RUGGED-N-RAW -The Japanese Hip Hop Photographs- 」
から6年の月日が過ぎた2024年、cherry chill will.がフォトグラファーとして活動を始め15年目の区切りとして、
Carhartt WIP Japanサポートにて2作品目となる写真集”BONAFIDE”を11月9日にリリース。

これまでアメリカ各地や南米、アジアを旅し撮影してきたランドスケープや現地の人々、国内外のアーティスト、ミュージシャンなど「音の旅」をテーマにcherry chill will.がファインダーの中で見つめてきた様々なシーンを掲載。写真家としてのパーソナルな世界観を表現した290ページを超える写真集となっており、15年間の集大成といっても過言ではない作品となっている。

1978年青森県八戸市出身。写真家。
98年からCISCO RECORDSでスタッフ/バイヤーとして勤務後、2008年よりフォトグラファーとして活動。HIP HOPの現場を中心に国内外のアーティストのライヴ、アルバムジャケットやアーティストフォト、雑誌/広告など多数手掛ける。

2018年に日本のHIP HOPシーン初の写真集
「RUFF,RUGGED&RAW -The Japanese Hip Hop Photographes-」をDU BOOKS社より出版。

2021年にCarhartt WIP Japan主催による写真展「ALL I NEED IS ONE MOMENT」を東京/大阪/広島/福岡の４都市で開催。

現在も多くのアーティストやミュージシャン達に支持される
名実共に日本を代表するHIP HOP / ストリートフォトグラファーの1人。

Photographer. Born in 1978 in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture.
Worked as a staff/buyer at CISCO RECORDS from 1998, and has been active as a
photographer since 2008. Primarily focused on the hip-hop scene, working on numerous
projects, including live performances, album covers, artist photos, magazines, and
advertisements for domestic and international artists. In 2018, published the first-ever
photography book on the Japanese hip-hop scene titled “RUFF, RUGGED & RAW -The
Japanese Hip Hop Photographs-” with DU BOOKS. In 2021, held a photography exhibition
titled “ALL I NEED IS ONE MOMENT,” organized by Carhartt WIP Japan, in four cities: Tokyo,
Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka. Currently recognized as one of Japan’s leading hip-hop and
street photographers, both in name and in fact, respected by many artists and musicians.
