2023 was a tough year for a lot of us, but @skrothbard and I are happy to have brought a little more love into this world with the birth of our son, Judah Paul Marks.Big sisters Francie and Mara think he is very nice and cute, and have only attacked him once so far, so we’re off to a good start!

We had to say goodbye to Layla yesterday.She was an amazing dog (unless you were a mailman, skateboarder, or just someone she didn’t know yet). She loved our family, and we loved her. She taught Sarah and me how to be parents and was always gentle with her human sisters.She will live on in our memories, and in all the bad habits she taught her dog brother, Casey Jones.

It’s been an amazing privilege filming “This Is Life with Lisa Ling” for the last two years.I’ve learned so much traveling the country with this great crew!Tonight marks the end of our journey as our series finale airs on CNN.Thanks to @lisalingstagram for bringing me with you to help tell these stories!
