Here’s my Gecqua. Did not come out remotely how envisioned it! 😂 was going to do a quadrupedal with a massive tail. For water gun. But this gunner came about instead with an elongated neck.
This feels like a second stage actually. Maybe I’ll try again.

People of Goa, mostly Russians, and an Indian boy who fixed my phone. In the end is Varuna, goddess of safe passage at sea. She was there in a fever I could not sweat.

Honored to start a mural in the most beautiful city I’ve ever experienced, Varanasi. Words can’t explain the feeling one receives walking its sometimes busy and sometimes quiet streets. Walking along the river and seeing the fires burning day and night. And meeting strangers around every corner.
This mural is a culmination of the many wonders I saw during my 4 days journey. From the magnificent to the peculiarly mundane. Everyday life here is tinged with magic.
And finally, a huge warm thank you to my friend @ydvxaryan for his hospitality and smiles while I drew the mural at @somit_warm_welcomes . Spent most of my day having chai, conversations and some cigs with him at his home while sketching the mural with him sitting behind me listening to music and chatting with me. Anyone visiting Varanasi should pay Aryan a visit and stay with @somityoga …very good home-like hostel and private rooms.
