Volume one of six from DJ Codiac - immortalizing the genre in a space time capsule 🎛️🎚️🎚️🎛️🛰️🔊🌌👾

It’s been years that I’ve been planning to immortalize my Dubstep vinyl collection in the format of a “best-of” mix series - a thesis, capstone, Dubstep magnum opus.

Inspired by original Golden Record launched by NASA in 1977 on the Voyager spacecraft to represent all of humanity in sound, these are my Dubstep Golden Records. Every track in this mix series is one that I would unflinchingly eject into space to represent Dubstep in its entirety if NASA ever made the completely rational decision to task me with such a project.

I’m not claiming these are the definitive tunes of the Dubstep universe... there are other more authoritative voices to establish the tunes that most greatly impacted music culture. But they are *my favorite* of all time. I still take this seriously as something that’s immensely meaningful to my identity. IMO each of these tunes are timeless and top-class, and do well to symbolize the Dubstep genre.

This mix series is quite literally the very best I can muster, and represents the best of my record collection and technical ability. I hope you enjoy - give me a shout!
