@joyannparker band ‘Life Lines’ Album release party! Sunday May 3rd @theparkwaympls tickets moving fast! This song is called ‘What’s Good for You’ and is definitely one of the most rocking tracks on our last record ‘Roots’. Big thanks to @zerr2112 for these videos from last summer at the State Fair.

I wear a lot of musical hats, not so many physical ones, and one of the most rewarding ones I’ve donned over the last 4.75 years has been playing with Joyann Parker! She has a powerful vocal presence and a keen ear for writing great songs. And she wears her heart on her sleeve just like I do.
Since I was about 14 I wanted to be a bass player. I knew it wasn’t going to be just one musical path for me because of my upbringing and my own personal tastes running from jazz to classical, free improv to prog rock, and most other points in between. I have been lucky to make my living playing music and joining up with Joy has added a whole new dimension of musical experience I didn’t expect to have on my plate.
