An antique French truffle jar with the most beautiful olive green glass and softly flared form. These were originally used in France for storing preserved truffles and other pantry staples in provincial kitchens. Over time, these utilitarian vessels became beloved for their simple silhouettes, hand-blown character, and rich old glass that catches the light so beautifully.

Today, they make incredible styling pieces filled with wooden utensils, garden clippings, or simply left empty as part of a collected shelf.

Back home..… and feeling grateful.

France filled my heart (and my suitcases), but the work that follows is just as real. Unpacking, sorting, cleaning, planning.... and getting ready for a live tomorrow evening.

So thankful for the friends I traveled with, and for the new ones I met along the way. Those moments are just as special as the pieces I bring home.

I got in yesterday evening, and today looks a lot like this moment. Quiet, grounded, taking it all in.

Not many finds today, but good ones.
