Wow! Almost thirty-one years ago. Crazy!

For some odd reason, I was unaware that my favorite hardcore band was playing. I happened to be in the city, driving around with a few friends. I don't think we had an actual destination that particular night. We hit a bunch of traffic on 6th Avenue around West 20th Street when I saw dozens of people outside the Limelight that looked like my kind of people. A lot of baggy pants and Doc Martens going on. I rolled down my window and asked a random person, "Yo! Who's playing tonight?" The guy said, "Sick Of It All". I hesitated for a second, then told my friends that I was getting out and headed into the show. I got out, left them and watched them drive away, went in, and met up with a ton of friends and familiar faces. Great times.
