Way back in 2020, the incredible @rach.sonis and I started working together on Bigfoot and Nessie, written by the phenomenal @chelseamcampbell. We were over the moon when the stellar @lauraknetz agreed to illustrate the series, as we are all gigantic Bug Boys fans. (p.s. read bug boys.) She brought these little guys to LIFE right before our eyes. The indomitable Tess Stone joined on as our letterer soon after, and our ✨ DREAM TEAM ✨was complete.
Four years later and book one won an EISNER!!! at SDCC last night for best graphic novel for early readers!!!! I can’t believe it and honestly I’ve been teary since I woke up today.
