The Women’s 3/4/5 field rolled deep for the 81st Tour of Somerville, almost 50 women made it to the start line on Monday and wasted no time getting to work. During the race there was a significant amount of shuffling and reshuffling of riders controlling the front, but despite some really good efforts the race looked increasingly like it would come down to a field sprint. The dynamic duo of Kruis CX would once again implement team tactics with Sunday's Easton winner, Amanda Tait, driving it on the front for teammate and eventual winner Jules Spector. It would be a tight field sprint to the line between Spector, Paula Valero and Annabelle Legg with Spector winning by less than half a wheel length.
