I am honoured overwhelmed and way beyond excited to be long listed for the Women's Prize for fiction 2026.

some characters don’t leave when the book ends and mercy is definitely one of them 😭 this book felt raw, tender, funny, heartbreaking all at once, and i already know i’m going to be thinking about her for a very long time.

also the fact that this is a debut novel??? absolutely ridiculous 🫠
