For Member Month, #MECstaffer Lindsay wanted to introduce us to someone special... her dad. An outdoorsman since childhood and MEC member since 1977, Ivan’s been using his laminated membership card to gear up for all kinds of adventures in the Rocky Mountains and beyond for nearly 50 years.

It’s officially Member Month at MEC and we’re kicking things off by celebrating the members who start their adventures at MEC.

Today we’re shining the spotlight on @jinny.montpetit.photography, a professional wildlife photographer and videographer based out of Montreal, and proud longtime MEC member. Working in harsh, ever-changing conditions, her gear plays a vital role in keeping her comfortable and connected to the environments she captures.
