This set was all about a clean, modern studio vibe with strong lines and attitude — denim, minimal props, and bold posing. Steph really brought the concept to life with her energy, expression, and styling, making these shots pop exactly how I envisioned them.
🔦 Lighting Setup (3 Lights)
Key Light (Model) – Base exposure at 1/8 power for natural skin tones and depth.
Background/Wall Light – Pushed the cyc wall to clean white, set +1 stop over the key.
Rim/Separation Light – Added edge highlight around the hair and shoulders at 1/16 power, about –1 to –2 stops below the key.
For anyone shooting with AlienBees, I relied on the AB800 Power Chart as my quick f-stop guide. I’ll drop a simple cheat sheet in this carousel for you to save.
