Parallel led the creative audio direction and technical sound design, bridging the gap between software design and musical composition.
Six distinct scenes, each with a variety of behaviors, trigger sounds across a spatial array of beam-forming speakers.
The result is a soundtrack that brings the visuals to life—sounds you can move through as you walk the space.

UNI is a futuristic sculpture at United Therapeutics, in collaboration with @dotdotdash .
We created a custom musical instrument for UNI to play—training it to generate melodies, choose keys, and shape sound in real time.
Using a camera and microphone, UNI senses its surroundings and makes musical decisions based on what it perceives.
The result is a continuously evolving performance.

Parallel created the sound design for Nike’s Chicago Marathon Pop-Up, a retail experience that transported runners into the sensation of weightlessness for the launch of the Vomero Premium.
From warped energy and floating textures to sci-fi tones that evoked suspension and lift, Parallel designed an audio environment that connected with the visuals and immersed visitors in the space - culminating in a visceral, zero-gravity shoe trial 🚀🎧

We created the sound design for AT&T Slam Dunk, a mixed reality experience at NBA Crossover 2025 that let fans take flight in virtual environments and walk away with their own highlight reel.
From the roar of the crowd to countdowns and impact moments, we crafted reactive audio that made each dunk feel larger than life—then carried that same energy into the personalized reels.

Newest project - Environmental Sound Design for “Pathways of Pursuit”, a one night immersive event in support of nonprofit cancer research. Back in February we worked on custom sound design and a spatial audio mix for Yahoo!’s experiential booth at the NBA All-Star Weekend. Tying in with the incredible visual and physical design created by @hovercraftstudio, visitors were surrounded by layers of immersive audio. The history of street basketball was brought to life in chapters using the sounds and images of four iconic outdoor courts. Combining music, narration, athlete interviews, and environmental audio, we wove the sounds together so that each court sonically evoked a specific decade and region. More info at link in bio…

Working with @setcreative and Google’s design team, we created a retail soundscape for the Pixel Buds Pro experience at Google’s Chelsea Store. The soundscape mixes the sound of NYC’s iconic subways with a droning musical backdrop.Customers are invited to place the Pixel Buds Pro in their ears and directly experience the Active Noise Cancellation as the sounds of the subway disappear.More info at link in bio…

@craigwinslow created this amazing projection-mapping spectacle that breathes new life into vintage Vegas signs. For this latest iteration we spatially mixed audio through an array of speakers to match Craig’s 360 degree projected animations. The result is incredible - truly a touching, nostalgic, and immersive portrait of Vegas.
