I've always wanted to take my cartoony hand drawn style to my 3d work so I made this turn around of a girl I had previously sketched. I tried to keep it black and white because that's what I love while drawing and got @aniruddh.menon to help me do some dramatic lighting with some spot lights.

I will be playing in the room of rest and reflection. The night looks special courtesy exquisite curation from @pink.section and @qrave_official with some amazing musicians and DJs. It's going to be so gooood. I hope to play some of my softer beauties, and start the evening with some of my ambient and textural work. 🌙 There is the room of rest and then there is the room of rage, so come do both friends because we need to and let us move and be together.

There is something about being immersed in the Bhavani river and the forest and hills - with the birds, elephants, otters, wild boar and all the insects and ancient stones around it in Attapadi that can't be described, I came here three years ago and I think the landscape affects your mind and heart fundamentally and I couldn't wait to be back to this part of Kerala again.
I met so many new friends who are on the same wavelength, and whose experimental music and electronic artistry is inspiring on so many levels - I feel refreshed ⚡⚡@catatacat @zequenx @threeoscillators @fursat_fm @berodmusic @tulikaaasma @aravind_chedayan @fun_tzu

Nesa Azadikhah (@nesaazadikhah): Born in Iran & based in France, Nesa is a DJ, producer, and musician. She grew up playing traditional percussion instruments (since the age of 6!), and got into mixing/producing in her teens. after establishing herself as an artist and community champ within the Tehran underground scene, she moved to Tbilisi and then Paris.Nesa recently released an EP titled “Isn’t Immigration Hard?” on @sepehr.inc’s label @shaytoonrecords. As a versatile DJ, Nesa effortlessly joins the dots between techno, trance, experimental, & house music.

Pardafash (@pardafash): BLR-based Pardafash is a producer & vocalist with a keen interest in acid house, techno, ambient, noise, and experimental music. She was previously part of BLR-based collective “Consolidate” & has released music on the label’s compilations. She often combines her musical prowess with her background in visual design, and has composed music for dance & theatre.

Sanoli Chowdhury (@sanolichowdhury): Co-founder of Femme Music, Sanoli is a singer-songwriter, producer, & an audio enginee. She has a knack for marrying ambient textures with subtle guitar passages, and enveloping them with understated vocals, to give listeners the feeling of being detached from conscious reality yet connected to indescribable emotions.

Prerna V. (@prernaa_v): Having trained in Western classical & Carnatic violin since the age of 5, Prerna is on a journey of discovering a scrumptious blend of Eastern & Western sound palettes. With a range of influences from Ilaiyaraaja to Glass Beams, her explorations are fueled by curiosity to explore strings and their expansive sonic possibilities. She frequently performs with Vasu Dixit Collective & also tracks violin for songs/scores within the Kannada film industry.

I love events run by artists for artists - there are so many reasons why I had the best gig last week with @nineoeightblr - 💕 They took so much care and thought over every little detail to make the live performances go smoothly along with premium sound by @readtheroom.in 💥 everything sounded sooo goood. The audience was also super open and appreciative.
I'm just a person who likes hearing their beats loud on nice speakers and dancing with friends, also lasers and smoke machines never hurt. I was able to turn on Pardafash Dark Mode and play a bunch of new fun tracks that I produced, and there's a lot more where that came from.

I suddenly discovered these photos and I really like them - throwback to when I played at PCPA for a @linearfestivals.in show. I also realised that I don't end up documenting my performances properly, so thought I should put these for the feels. I have a complicated relationship with singing, while I enjoy it and that's how I started my career in music, but currently in my heart of hearts I feel like I'm a producer and experimenting through composing is what gives me the most primal joy. I guess we all go through phases with our practice as musicians, so one can feel joy in different aspects of our art and process at different times in our lives. We can be many things.
