I was blessed with the honor to shoot a string of visuals for @lovealexisley . this project was difficult for me in the best way possible as a director. because it forced me to look inward in all of my toxicity and my past. I looked at a mirror and at the same time looked at a woman’s perspective of a relationship. the highs and lows of it all. It taught me a lot about myself and who I want to be as a man. the accountability I want to hold. And isn’t that what art is all about? to point to the ugly truth. To notice the elephant in the room.
