Last year, the talented musician and composer Derya Yıldırım@deryayildirim_official approached us to bring her website to life.
Alongside the website, we developed a distinct visual identity for her as an independent artist. The site features a custom filter system for upcoming shows, whether she’s performing solo or with her band @deryayildirim_grupsimsek , and includes a dedicated discography page.
Huge thanks to Derya for the trust throughout the process.
And a special shout-out to our longtime friend David for putting us forward.

Earlier this year, we were approached by the happiest man in dance music, @malugienergy, to bring an absolutely enormous inflatable penguin to life for a special show during @amsterdamdanceevent.
Here’s a look at the process from sketch, to 3D modelling and rigging, all the way to the final inflatable. Big thanks to the team for your trust and vision! We’re looking forward to seeing the penguin go on tour.

For years, isla Berlin has been at the forefront of global nail design, setting trends and shaping culture. Together with UMGB/Pierce, we supported the launch of isla’s first-ever press-on nail product — a bold collaboration with one of Germany’s most distinctive artists: badmómzjay.
UMGB/Pierce and isla Berlin led the overall concept development, product development, and art direction — including the standout “grab-in” packaging feature, event activation, and campaign touchpoints. Our role was to help translate this vision into a flexible brand system, a fitting photography style and design of key packaging elements that made the product feel premium, expressive, and instantly recognizable at point of sale.
Working within this broader creative direction, we focused on ensuring isla’s identity could extend into product collaborations while remaining culturally connected and visually impactful. The design supported the launch’s goal: to redefine perceptions around press-on nails and create something that would resonate with a Gen Z audience – letting them engage with a product in a very tangible way right in the store.

Die Woche - The weekly news (video) podcast is back. The German public service broadcaster @funk asked us to create the identity for the show, as well as an opening sequence. We channeled our inner weirdness and animated various "worlds" mixing styles from claymation to 2D, to represent the different events happening each week, all under a fuzzy warm glow of a classic televison.
A massive thanks to @studiobummens and Hannah Reiss for producing it and bringing us on board.

We’re thrilled to announce that our lettering and type design for @heavee_773 / @hyperdubrecords has been awarded a Wood Pencil at this year’s D&AD Awards in London!
With over 30,000 submissions from around the world, we’re incredibly proud to have our work recognised on such a prestigious stage.
D&AD is widely regarded as one of the most respected creative awards, and the Wood Pencil is awarded to “the best of the year in advertising, design, craft, culture and impact.”
Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this project — we couldn’t be more excited.
Thanks to Heavee for your trust on the record and hyperdub as always.
Big thanks to @lemonade___studio for the creative support and Clara @maison.ogino and Julia @kuc.miklaszewicz for putting it all together ✨
Last year’s LCC (London College of Communication) postgraduate shows challenged the idea of a perfect final outcome, shifting the focus to process, experimentation, and making. Instead of a single identity, we designed three distinct yet connected identities, each tailored to its school while fitting into a fourth, flexible modular system.
Process as Design:
Past show branding leaned too heavily on graphic design, so we expanded the visual language with film, photography, and print artifacts. We documented textures from LCC’s facilities—screen prints, litho misprints, film strips, and pixel glitches—transforming them into backgrounds, stock papers, and animated visuals.
DIY & Cost-Effective:
With a limited budget, we focused on accessible production:
- A website where students could generate their own promotional materials in the show’s identity
- Pre-printed stock paper (A4 & A3) with textured backgrounds for students to layer their content onto
- A layered modular system, allowing each show’s visuals to build on the last, reducing waste and setup time.
By celebrating process, we turned mistakes into design features. Each show’s identity was layered onto the previous one, reinforcing the themes of experimentation and iteration that drive creative work.

A little late to the party, but here’s a peek at the 2025 calendar we created! Our amazing intern @chezalie and designer @kuc.miklaszewicz designed this two-color risograph beauty, featuring 12 riddles to keep you entertained all year long. As part of the productivity pack we sent to people we admire, we also made some productivity socks—to keep you performing at your peak (and modelled by our other designer @maison.ogino)
We might just have a little giveaway coming up for our Berlin-based baddies, so stay tuned!

Last month, we were commissioned to create animations for the launch of Union Los Angeles and Nike Jumpman’s new AJ1 Chicago/Shadow sneaker.
Inspired by 1980s television graphics, we brought various assets to life, which were showcased across multiple touchpoints. The official launch event, held during All-Star Weekend, featured a Late Night-inspired VIP experience—a playful nod to Michael Jordan’s iconic talk show appearance from the ’80s. Set in a stunning San Francisco venue, the event included a full-scale talk show, bringing the theme to life in a truly immersive way.

🎂Happy Birthday Berghain! 🎂
For their 20th Anniversary, the Berlin nightclub, Berghain asked us to design one of four flyers. We created a cabinet of curiosities with 20 objects including a crossword puzzle for the ravers who might need something to do while taking a break from dancing. We loved seeing the various attempts online of people trying to solve it - has anyone finished it yet?
All designed in-house with wacky ideas and VR sculpting from our very own @maison.ogino
Here’s to the next 20!

2024 was an incredible ride! We grew and learned alongside some amazing people, working on diverse projects ranging from press-on nail packaging for Europe's hottest nail salon @islaberlin to 3D animations for one of the world’s most iconic beers. @1664blancde
We were honored to return to our university, @lcclondon, to design the postgraduate degree show, and we brought to life an exciting project in one of Europe’s oldest multistorey car parks @dufte_berlin
This year, we also formed a new collective with some of our closest friends, @getgrouphug (follow us—new content coming soon!), and together tackled some intense and rewarding projects.
A big thank-you also to @heavee_773 who trusted us with the design and art direction of his album Unleash, and let us go crazy on the visuals. Thank you for letting us use this track for our showreel (StarSeeker from the album Unleash)
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited for what’s to come—but most of all, we want to thank everyone who has been part of our journey this year

After more than 2 years, countless parties and almost 20 artworks, we are parting ways with our good friends @spectrumwavesparis as they move into the next chapter of their collective. We designed a brand identity, new logomark and design system for their communication channels, as well as various artworks that helped shape the collective into one of Paris's finest party series and safe spaces.
We are very proud of what we've achieved together and look forward to where the future takes you! A big thanks to @leaocchi and team for the belief and trust in us.
