Nearly two decades after @champagnepapi first sampled her music on So Far Gone, Swedish indie-pop artist @lykkeli is once again hearing her work woven into the rapper’s world — this time through an interpolation of her 2011 classic “I Follow Rivers” on Drake’s Iceman track “Janice STFU.”

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Li said she recently listened to the song “blasting it in the car” with a friend and described it as “potent,” filled with “raw, revenge, hip-hop energy.” The interpolation marks another unexpected chapter in the life of “I Follow Rivers,” a song that has continued to evolve through remixes, covers, mash-ups, and viral internet rediscoveries over the years.

Originally featured on her album Wounded Rhymes, the track became a global phenomenon thanks in part to The Magician’s dance remix, cementing it as Li’s most enduring hit.

Reflecting on its legacy, Li said the song has taken on a meaning beyond her own ownership, comparing its cultural afterlife to “a scripture or a hymn.” “It doesn’t even belong to me,” she said. “It has a life of its own.”

@champagnepapi brought ICEMAN to the backseat with a surprise carpool singalong alongside @nyflavaaa and his children, who already seemed to know every word to “Janice STFU.”

@cheema.y1 and @gursidhuinsta have surprise-dropped their new collaborative album Bermuda Triangle, catching fans off guard with no extended rollout or teaser campaign leading up to release. The project arrived alongside the music video for “Cartel,” which quickly began pulling strong engagement across YouTube and social platforms within hours of release.

The album leans further into the sharp lyricism and bass-heavy production both artists have become known for in Punjabi music’s current independent wave. In a statement shared with the release, Cheema Y described Bermuda Triangle as “a world” built from his “thoughts, experiences, and contradictions,” while Sidhu said the production was designed to make listeners “feel every word deeper.”

@cheema.y1 et @gursidhuinsta ont lancé par surprise leur nouvel album collaboratif Bermuda Triangle, prenant leurs fans de court sans longue campagne promotionnelle ni série d’indices avant sa sortie. Dans une déclaration partagée au moment de la sortie, Cheema Y a décrit Bermuda Triangle comme «un univers» construit à partir de ses «pensées, expériences et contradictions», tandis que Sidhu a expliqué que la production avait été pensée pour faire en sorte que les auditeurs «ressentent chaque mot plus profondément».

For more than 15 years, Pouzza Fest has grown into one of North America’s most important DIY gatherings. Behind the dozens of venues, hundreds of artists, and nonstop energy of the weekend, founder Hugo Mudie is still running the festival with a small team and a vision deeply rooted in Montréal’s punk community.

We spoke with Mudie about the evolution of Pouzza, the importance of supporting new bands, and this year’s edition featuring nearly 150 artists, including PUP, Buzzcocks, Wheatus and a wide range of local acts.Link in bio.
