❤️🔥 TRAILER DROP ❤️🔥
“WHAT IT TAKES”
Expedition Unfiltered – All Women Snowboard Film
Produced by @alenkaamali
Director @alexclapin
DOP @llexxartt
📅 Feb 27th 2026 – @thevimff opening night ✨
For the past year I have been working on a very special piece with an amazing crew of individuals. Getting to see my good friends @isiassler and @smith_irie grow, and support each other is a big dream. That’s what its all about. It’s easy to say that we support women but its another thing putting it into action.
I feel very proud and honoured to see the film screen at VIMFF in February. So much work and effort goes behind these films. Long days, very physically and mentally challenging, a lot of travelling and carrying 35kg+ packs.
I wanted to show what it takes to do big missions, big objectives and behind the scenes of an all women expedition.
🤍
Produced by Alenka Mali in association with @mediabytheuntamed & @kincentric.video
Additional cinematography & photography @markomagister @leon.butler1
Original music by @goran.magister @lvdy.music
Supported by @thenorthface @branwynofficial

I know I’ve used this audio before but I’m bringing it back because this is for the women in my life ♥️
.
When @sistersummit_ first started, I showed my mom their first post and said “look how cool this is! I’m gonna go to this one day:)”. Fast forward a few years and I had been writing the word “Norway” in my journal every week for a couple months, I felt this spring I wanted to go:) I got a few opportunities but the funds never aligned and so I had to turn them down. Then came a day, a day I was really struggling with some things, and I was sitting on the couch having a good cry with my mom when I got @lexidupont text inviting me to sister summit in Norway ! I immediately stood up and then dropped to my knees balling my eyes out in disbelief!!
.
This was an opportunity I couldn’t give up so I decided to reach out for help:) @jamieanderson sent me a message within the day telling me about the Jamie Anderson Foundation which has several grants for women who are trying to grow in their sports, and she gave me one of the grants 🥹 my aunt @macintyreka and uncle @jamiehubick supported me with flights and within the day I was emailing @hedvigwessel and @lexidupont that I was locked in 🥹
.
@sistersummit_ is the epitome of support, love, community, health, and sisterhood 💛 It is so beyond empowering to be in a space with women watching them hold one another, cheer for one another, listen to their bodies needs, push one another to grow and be better, teach and mentor the generations below! I feel something that can only be described as euphoria leaving this incredible setting 🥹
.
I learned this week that there is more than enough room at the table for all the women, and if there are new people who come in, it’s so so easy to grab another chair and create more space 💛
.
Thank you a million times over to
@lexidupont and @hedvigwessel for putting this retreat together :)) thank you to @lentinealexis and @__lukas__luke for creating absolute art and health in good form:) thank you to @jamieanderson @macintyreka and @jamiehubick for supporting me in getting to this beautiful place!! Thank you to @lyngenexperience for the most amazing accommodation and service ever :))

I feel something that can only be described as euphoria leaving this incredible setting 🥹
.
I learned this week that there is more than enough room at the table for all the women, and if there are new people who come in, it’s so so easy to grab another chair and create more space 💛
.

@smith_irie knows what it means to show up for women in the mountains.
From snowboarding to filmmaking, alongside her CSGA Level 1 Tail Guide and ACMG Apprentice Hiking Guide certifications, she’s building real experience — not just presence.
We’re stoked to have her with us in Norway this week.
Hands down one of the top runs of my whole life !!
.
I had very little gas left in my tank and had convinced @_james.ash I wasn’t going to tour that day… until we drove past this beautiful untouched heli ski line of goodness !
.
Okay… but just one lap! And just one lap was allllll I needed 🥰
.
.
Grateful for new touring friends and places :))

Feeling so honoured and grateful to have been given the opportunity to practicum in Norway with @sawbackalpine 🥹
.
This week brought challenging conditions for skiing and sailing but that didn’t stop our crew from having an incredible time !! Keeping a positive attitude, knowing good card games, and accepting large amounts of king crab from an intoxicated fisherman, make even the toughest of conditions into the best of times :)
.
Thank you to @sofiaforsmans for being the most amazing guide and mentor a girl could ask for ! Teaching me about Norwegian conditions, group care, knowing when to turn around, and making sure to always get cake before bed :) I learned so so much from Sofia and am so unbelievably inspired by her♥️
.
A huge thank you to @tallship_saeftinghe for having the best crew ever and making sure we always stayed safe and had fun on the water :) was so much fun learning how to put the sail up, which conditions are sailable and which aren’t, bantering with the crew, and getting to experience all that the Saeftinghe has to offer :) if you ever do a sailing trip I highly recommend reaching out to these amazing people !
.
Thank you to our awesome group of guests for having the most amazing attitudes! Zero complaints the entire time, even when 100km/hr gusts were giving them a fresh gale kiss to the face :)
.
And of course I can’t thank @sawbackalpine enough for bringing me along on this trip 🥹 I am so beyond grateful to have gotten the opportunity to learn in a new place with a different snowpack and set up from what I’m used to:) The lessons I learned and memories I made I’ll be taking with me for years and years to come 💛
.
So excited to continue to build my own guiding skills and maybe possibly one day become as cool as @sofiaforsmans :))

@selkirksnowcat where it all began for me in my tail guiding journey 🥹 passed my course here last April and was honoured with the chance to tail guide a few weeks here this winter :)
.
Standing at the top of my last run for the season up here, tears in my eyes, I was reminiscing on every moment since my first day . I remember feeling super nervous not knowing if I had what it took to be a good tail guide . If I had practised enough or knew enough to be able to keep people safe . All the guides checked in on me, gave me tips, and also gave me a lot of encouragement on that first day :) they made me feel so at home and ready to take on the season ♥️
.
Every moment since then has been nothing short of amazing :) having the opportunity to grow and learn alongside family, have fun while also push myself to be the best I can be, get to meet some unbelievable humans, and spend every single day out in the mountains 🥹 I’m still waiting for the day someone tells me my job is a scam and I actually owe thousands of dollars for all the time spent up here 😂
.
There’s too many things I want to say about Selkirk and how grateful I am but I’ll leave it at this: thanks for giving me the chance, for teaching me all you have taught me and giving me all you have given me :) counting down the days till i get to be back up here next season !
.
See ya soon @selkirksnowcat 🥰

Funziona senza problemi su iOS, Android, Windows, macOS e browser moderni come Chrome e Safari.
Garantisce una navigazione sicura e anonima senza richiedere credenziali di accesso.
Gli utenti possono visualizzare storie pubbliche semplicemente inserendo un nome utente—nessun account richiesto.
Scarica foto (JPEG) e video (MP4) facilmente.
