The four-piece band from Cornwall create musical poetry, inspiring their audiences to dream and feel as deeply and vividly as we all deserve.

With their debut album “Are You Alright?” hot off the presses, this is an exciting time to catch these guys in an iconic and intimate space.

we’ve booked a few shows to celebrate the album release in june - **BRISTOL** (super cool fun place, special to many of us cornwall folk), **LONDON** (where some of us cut our teeth, and others grew them) and **FALMOUTH** (where it all began and will surely continue to gan)

we’re really excited to get out and play our songs to new crowds and see our friends in city lights. such a treat to be able to travel around, play music, spread love and explore new parts of the map with your team

got some killer supports including a cornwall-exclusive set from @paumusica , the musical polymath who we produced the album with in chile - super crazy intercontinental stuff

Susannah Sail is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, making soul, jazz and alternative-indie music with her three best friends and bandmates. Susannah’s songwriting is inspired by her past relationships, musings on the complexity of human emotion, and a positive vision of the future. Her band, featuring George Offenbach (bass), Taylor Daley (drums), and Morgan Doughty (guitar) brings the sensibilities of a live jazz band, supporting and embellishing these heartfelt compositions.

For fans of Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Hiatus Kaiyote and Radiohead, Susannah Sail guides you to a place of introspection, acceptance, gratitude, and optimism.

Why hello there,

Running is out,

Our 3rd single,

Because it’s such a long tune, we thought it would be a great idea to release it in two parts,

Running Part 1 - Symbolises the rush, the fear, the sadness and the love,

Running Part 2 - Symbolises falling into emptiness with nothing to hold on to,

All to do with feelings and emotions,

I love how music is interpreted in different ways, when listening, people will take away different meanings from the instruments, sounds and lyrics,

happy new year everybody !!

little update on the release.. we’ve made the executive decision to push back the date of the album a little bit (for various behind the curtain reasons) and instead, drop another single !!

running is a track we’re all super fond of; some might even argue it’s our best (if anybody other than me and george could be bothered to argue about anything). we’re releasing it in two parts - a stroke of marketing genius harkening back to the days where >3 minute tunes would never be played on the radio, but also because the two sections feel like distinct, complete worlds in their own right. we’re also dropping a visualiser on the ‘tube, shot by the immaculate @jude.jansen, on sticks, in the back of our completely OP air bnb host’s pickup in chile

running, our third and final (perhaps..?) single will be out for yas all to see, hear and feel tomorrow !!

we’ll also be on danny boy’s bbc introducing SW show tonight from 8 along with some other local legends (they never would have had us on with the 3.5 minute instrumental space-out outro). tune in for a sneaky sneak peak x

guyssss we’re doing it, we’re going to be releasing our album on january 9th !!

it’s been about a year, from the inception of the ideas (rosie’s demo tracks she made in her various bedrooms), to getting together as a band and working out the arrangements, the recording process, and finally flying across the world to meet our maestro and get the mixing and mastering done. having the tracks ready to release fills us with gratitude, excitement and pride, and feels like a weight we never minded bearing being lifted

a new year signifies many things. the wintery weather inspires introspection and hibernation, many folks enter january with stoic designs of abstinence and healthfulness, and for musicians, the gigging slows down and the work of building for when the world springs up again begins. we hope our album can play a part in your wintering, plotting and scheming for the future

one week of solo guys !!

it’s a crazy thing recording and releasing music. you spend hours listening to a track - tearing it apart, eagle-earedly analysing the minutiae, soloing the bloody shaker, making sure the spoony bits are spoony enough, the bass is fat, the guitar sounds nice and purple, etc. - and then once it’s finished you only actually hear it when you’re cringing out playing it for people or it comes on on the playlist you added it to to score algorithm points

we are super happy with the final product, and hope you guys are enjoying it too but putting all that work in and then letting it go feels a bit like a mother deer sending it’s fawn off to pick it’s own berries or skate across a frozen lake. oooh or it’s kinda like that david attenborough one where the baby turtles have to escape the snakes to get to the sea but the snakes are our friends and instead of trying to eat us they’re playing our tune in their restaurant or dancing around their bedroom to it

i don’t know, go check the track out if you haven’t already and if you have, give it a nice head start for next year’s *insert music streaming service here* wrapped. we’ll have more tunes coming for ya in the new year x

we’ve all been buzzing to get this one out, @iamdanielpascoe played it on @bbcintroducingsouthandwest last night and we all listened to it from our various time zones, grateful for proof that the work we’d put in resulted in a radio-friendly tune

GUYS WE’RE DOING A GIG IN MUH FUH CHILE !!

our lord and saviour @paumusica managed to secure these weons a gig at the lovely local bar we’ve been frequenting, @barcerrosdechena

this whole journey we’ve been running on hopes and dreams, empanadas and broth based bowls of deliciousness, lucky strikes and 1 1/4 sized roll-ups, cervesa cristal and corner store pisco, what little spanish we’ve picked up and our most charming smiles and delicate pointing digits

aside from the mountains, volcanos, waterfalls and lakes, the hospitality has blown us away. people’s openness, genuine care and interest for what we do and generocity to accomodate a load of ignorant but willing gringos, we’ve only scratched the surface but this coutry has been so good to us it feels like it’s quietly one of the best

tonight we’re going to do our thing for anyone who cares to listen and we’re buzzing for it. tomorrow, everything changes but the dreams and memories stay bright and beautiful. proud of you all and so so soooo grateful to pablo for all the love he’s shown us and how far he’s gone to keep this trip running smooth and spoony
