His work, exploring themes of vulnerability, loss, and the search for meaning, has been a huge inspiration to me. A shot from my short documentary Goudkeeltjes, in which I filmed supporters of local football clubs across the Netherlands.

A goal was scored during a local derby between SC Monster and Verburch. The kid’s face said it all.
