‘When Faith Moves Mountains’ or ‘Cuando la fe mueve montañas’ was created by artist Francis Alÿs to explain the paradox of life; sometimes people make things that lead to nothing, while sometimes making nothing leads to remarkable things.
〈信念移山〉（西班牙文：Cuando la fe mueve montañas）由藝術家法蘭西斯・艾利斯創作，用以闡釋人生的悖論：有時人們費力行事，終究徒勞無功；有時看似一無所作為，卻成就非凡。
In this piece, Alÿs managed to persuade 500 participants made up primarily of locals situated in the outskirts of Lima to help move a hill located on the outer edge of town one shovel at a time. The 500 volunteers armed with shovels and all dressed in similar looking shirts formed a line at the bottom of a large 1600 foot (487m) sand dune. The volunteers moved sand from the dune and positioned it about 4 inches (10cm) from its original spot, therefore, creating a brand new mountain. The project was completed as part of the Third Ibero-American Biennial of Lima.

Like most of his previous works, Alÿs recorded the entire process on film, photographs and various other mediums of documentation. The project, which was undertaken in 2002, was neither earthwork nor a traditional sculpture. Additionally, no new elements were included or added to the landscape; the process of moving the hill was seen as a powerful allegory and a metaphor to represent the power of human will and community work.
如同他多數过往作品，艾利斯以影片、攝影及多種紀錄媒介，完整記錄整個過程。這件2002年的創作，不屬於大地藝術，也非傳統雕塑。作品並未為地貌增添任何新元素，而移山的整個行為本身，成為一則深刻的寓言與隱喻，象徵人類意志的力量與群體共力的價值。

Numerical civilisations in comparison. The definitive defeat of meaning. Two-figure diseases that multiply till you jump with fright: we’re just a few hops away from the subtraction that makes us disappear. Wobbling and tottering in mobile ideograms. Suddenly the link with the past ceases: ropes, nets and laces hold the situation tight. Life is played out in an ideogram. The section, translated into three dimensions, develops triangular volumes aiming upwards in coexistence with horizontal lines: but vertically only the man moves.
Here it’s not the bedtime story that’s being told, here we turn the other side. The side does not mean that it’s not been pierced through. With a dry throat and a body in distress another sound is uttered.
End of words.
Start of the dance macabre.
數值文明的對照，意義的徹底潰敗。
雙數疫病不斷增殖，直至令人驚懼顫慄：我們距離將自身吞噬消亡的減法，僅咫尺之遙。在流動的表意符號中搖搖欲墜、步履蹣跚。與過往的連結驟然斷裂，唯有繩索、網絡與綁帶勉強牽制局勢。生命，收束於一枚表意符號之中。切面轉化為立體形態，向上延展的三角體量與水平線共生，唯有人類，獨自朝垂直方向挪動。
這裡講述的從非睡前童話，我們翻開事物的另一面。
另一面，不代表未曾被穿透。
喉嚨乾涸、軀體深陷煎熬之時，另一種聲音緩緩溢出。
話語終結。
死亡之舞，自此開啟。

Antonio Rezza and Flavia Mastrella, Golden Lions for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Biennale Theatre, invite participants into their unique creative universe, in a masterclass organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and dedicated to their artistic practice and collaborative language.
安東尼奧·雷薩與弗拉維亞·瑪斯翠拉為威尼斯雙年展戲術終身成就金獅獎得主。本次大師班由義大利文化中心主辦，將帶領參與者走進他們獨特的創作宇宙，深入探索其藝術實踐與合作創作語彙
The encounter will open with the screening of selected excerpts from The Roof and the Chance, the interactive television programme produced in Italy for RAI3. From there, the artists will guide the audience through their creative process using photographs, video materials, anecdotes, and personal stories that trace the development of their work.
活動一開始將放映兩位藝術家為義大利國家廣播電視三台（RAI3）製作的互動電視節目《屋頂與機遇》精選片段。隨後，藝術家將透過攝影作品、影像資料、趣聞軼事與親身經歷，引領觀眾了解其創作歷程
“Rezza completely merges the distinct roles of actor and performer into a single body. These distinctions lose all barriers, giving rise to a unique way of speaking in motion—out of inspiration, and out of pure, mad, lucid genius. Mastrella creates habitats and art forms that Rezza in turn inhabits and disrupts with his astounding commitment; spaces he occupies and at the same time subverts,that become objects, inspire the action, and come to life through the performative power of body and voice. From their union comeinnovative works from the perspective of theatrical language”. (Venice committee for Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement).
安東尼奧·雷薩是一位將演員與表演者這兩種截然不同的身分，徹底融於一身的藝術家。多虧了他，這兩種界線消弭殆盡，創造出一種獨特的、在動態中表達的方式——出於靈感，也出於純粹、瘋狂而清醒的天才。
弗拉維亞·瑪斯翠拉是創造場域與藝術形體的藝術家，而雷薩則以他驚人的投入，在這些空間之中棲身、並將之解構；這些空間被他佔有，同時也被他顛覆；它們化為物件，啟發劇情，並透過雷薩的身體與聲音的表演力量獲得生命
The workshop will include excerpts and exercises, concluding with an open dialogue, offering space for questions, curiosities, and direct exchange with the artists. The masterclass would be approximately 2 hours.

Current Plans is glad to participate in the 1st edition of Paris Internationale Milan (@aaaahhhparisinternationale ) with Inkblot, a solo presentation by Hong Kong based artist Ying Bo 影波.
'Inkblot' is a mixed-media series that originated from the wreckage of the 2018 Typhoon Mangkhut, which serendipitously deposited a collection of water-damaged family albums at the artist’s doorstep. Through the chemical violence caused by the flood, these domestic artifacts suffered emulsion transfer and chromatic fusion, dissolving the boundaries of unrelated private histories.
'Inkblot' moves beyond mere representation to engage the viewer’s internal landscapes of uprooting and loss. By interweaving projected symbolism with the volatile materiality of the distorted prints, the work serves as a catalyst for a shared processing of trauma.

在這土地匱乏之城，可以栽種一片方寸之地嗎？
有人精挑小巷經營 Salon 暨 Jazz Bar，將自己二十年的收藏品和喜好全收店內，打造極具個人色彩的專屬空間；也有三位願景相近的藝術家，在村屋建立藝術駐留共居系統，日常中實踐共融理想；移居香港多年的意大利人，落戶深水埗吸收在地養分，將安居之所營運成社區藝術及放映空間——
即使立錐之地難求，對空間的想像仍可在城市的縫隙生花⋯⋯𓆸
夢想把⿊房搬離睡房的我，受以上複合空間的建構過程啟發，遂於展覽場地開闢臨時工作室/⿊房，在限制中探尋理想空間的模樣。
Can one plant a square foot of utopia in a city of soil land problems?
Hong Kong is infamous for its prohibitively high rent, a seemingly insurmountable burden for those who pursue dreams of setting up art and culture in a physical form in the city. But fear not! As resilient as people are, the high rent has become the driving force to some of the most fascinating spaces in the most improbable settings.
A hair cutting and music haven nestled in a modest back alley, a collective space for crip artists in a rural residence, a self-evolving theatre and art museum taking advantage of the city’s liminal spaces… they all come in as inspirations as I set up my parasitic exhibition and darkroom, a three-week spatial experiment.
