I asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, “Jesus.”

I’ve been cut.
I’ve been doubted.
I’ve been written off more times than I can count.

And I’ve had moments, real ones — where the attitude slipped and the bitterness moved in before I could stop it.

The fall is not the end of the story.
It’s just the part before the comeback.

Some mornings the alarm goes off and everything in you says no. And honestly, that feeling is real. But feelings are fickle. They change by the hour. Convictions don’t.

The leaders who last aren’t the ones who always feel like it. They’re the ones who choose it anyway — gratitude, attitude, perspective, even when nothing in them wants to.
