WHAT IS A PTR SALE?
PTR stands for Production Test Run — a practice used across manufacturing industries when a company is confident in its product design but is still ramping up full-scale production capacity. The triggers available in this sale are fully production-representative, built to the exact same specifications and standards as every trigger that will follow. There are no compromises in materials, tolerances, or performance. Getting a small batch of triggers into the hands of real shooters is genuinely valuable to us. It allows us to confirm how the Legacy Special is performing in the field across the wide variety of Glock components and configurations in use today — and your early feedback helps ensure that when we ship at full scale, everything is exactly right. In short: you’re not getting a prototype or a beta product. You’re getting the real thing, just a little earlier than everyone else.
The Legacy Special is a bladed-lever version of the ACE Trigger System, reimagining the traditional Glock-style safety blade with a refined, modernized design. The Legacy Special is approved for use in both USPSA and IPSC shooting competitions. When the pull weight is set to 3.5 lbs or higher, the trigger can be used for everyday carry.
Great to be partnered with @sigsauerinc on their M400 Forge rifle. The rifle features our Two-Stage Duty, with a fixed pull weight of 3.5lb.
