We had a wonderful Yelp Elite Event at Upper Crust Baking in Davis. Guests indulged in amazing breads, pastries, desserts and Pizzas.

The owner Lorin told the story of how Upper Crust Baking started. The bakery was established by his parents who missed the jewish delicatessens in New York when they moved to California. When he took over, he kept the tradition but also added in his culinary skills from France.So you will see baked goods from both cultures: rye bread, challah, babka, New York cheese along side croissants, baguettes tarts and more.

You can find Upper Crust Baking in Davis location, Winters Location, and farmers markets. At Davis location, Wednesday pizza night is a special treat you don’t wanna miss.

Pizza Night at Upper Crust Baking in Davis is just around the corner, and with that in mind, we encourage you to place your order before it’s too late.

We take pre-orders online (link in the bio), in-person, or over the phone. We do however close preordering by 2pm on the day of service, which in this case is Wednesday. If you miss this preferred order deadline, you can always call in or swing by to see if there are available pizza slots.

We’ll be preparing pizzas between 4-7pm, which makes for a perfect mid week dinner! With the beautiful forecast ahead, we invite you to dine in on the patio or take it to enjoy elsewhere.

Finally, The Athenian, is this month’s specialty pizza, so make sure to give it a try sooner than later. We also have a variety of other pizzas to enjoy, like the one Fungus Amongus, featured in this very post!

It’s great to be back at the Winters Farmer’s Market.

We’ll be here Sundays, 9am-1pm, April-October.

Starting Friday, April 24th, join us on our patio for a new full service dining experience featuring shareable plates crafted with local ingredients. Think charcuterie, flatbreads, seasonal salads, specialty desserts, and more, all paired with locally produced wine, beer, apéritifs, and mocktails in a relaxed, communal setting.

Bistro Night will be offered most Fridays from 4pm to 9pm, with a menu inspired by French, Spanish, and Mediterranean flavors.

If you haven’t been to our pizza night yet, you’re missing out! 🍕✨

Join us this Wednesday at our Davis location for fresh, handmade pizzas straight from the oven. It’s also your last chance to enjoy The Printemps before a new special arrives next week, so do not miss it. Fresh asparagus, green peas, bacon, green onion, crushed red pepper, and topped with peppery watercress. It’s been a hit!

Interested? Here’s how it works. We recommend ordering online ahead of time to secure your spot, but we have had some availability for on the spot orders as well. We bake a limited number of pizzas throughout the evening, so earlier is always better.

Take your pizza to go or stay and enjoy it on our patio with a cold drink and maybe something sweet from the case. Make it a full experience with local favorites like wine from @greatbearvineyards and @berryessagapvineyards, coffee from @puravidabeans, and beer from @dunloebrewing.
