Savanna Orme, BFA, Painting & Drawing.
3 words that best describe you: Dedicated, Empathetic, and Curious.
Why are the arts important to you? The arts expand perspective and foster expression. As an educator, I want the arts to be more accessible and am so grateful for it being available in public schools.
What’s coming up that you are excited about? Hiking in Yellowstone and painting!
What do you like best about being an art major? Having a community of artists to share work with, engage in discussion, and encourage each other!
What advice do you have for incoming Art + Design students? Make the work and be manic about it! Quantity over quality. Compare your artwork to your past art and not your peer’s work. Enjoy your time in school!
Congratulations, Savanna! 🏆🎉

Alicia Solano Pineda, BFA, Ceramics.
3 words that best describe you: Determined, genuine, and selfless.
Why are the arts important to you? I think it’s important to have the ability to express yourself in any form. The arts are here to let you advocate for yourself and the things you believe in.

What do you like best about being an art major? The community is the best thing to come out of being an art major. I have met so many supportive and talented students, professors, and staff. I will forever be grateful for all the people I had the pleasure to meet.
What advice do you have for incoming Art + Design students? Don’t be afraid to do what you love most. Your happiness and doing what you love is more important than trying to do something you’re not passionate about.

Funziona senza problemi su iOS, Android, Windows, macOS e browser moderni come Chrome e Safari.
Scarica foto (JPEG) e video (MP4) facilmente.
