WORLD TURTLE DAY! We spent the day talking turtles and making plans for future projects that will benefit their ongoing conservation. These animals need all the help they can get. Nearly all of their problems stem from human action, but so too do the solutions.

Eastern Tiger Snake (Notechis scutatus). This one looked really pretty as it explored the rocky creek looking for frogs and other food.

We had a great day talking snakes, TV and explosives with Bryan Fry. We watched his Nat Geo special Pole to Pole with Will Smith the night before where they tracked Anacondas in the WILD! Thanks to Symbio Wildlife Park for having us!

We were very pleased to work on this project with Dr Harry for a segment on Better Homes and Gardens. Turtles have a rich history in Australia, and it's only in recent years that any real protection measures have been allocated to these wonderful creatures. We're so glad to be involved in the conservation of freshwater turtles and appreciate Dr Harry shining a light on that.
