Control Freak cofounder Customer Service (@willbradbugram) returns to the label with a pair of archive cuts - the first in a new run of singles set to roll out across the rest of 2026 and beyond.

Originally conceived in his old South London studio and recovered from a dying hard drive, ‘Gemini’ presents two radically different versions of the same source material.

Take a first listen now to the ‘Substance Mix’ - a measured, psychedelic & dubby exploration of the producer’s sonic world.

As fate had it, I spent the majority of my twenties in walking distance to this 500-cap club. Long nights at @corsica.studios turned me from an indie kid into a bedroom DJ, then became a home for @cabinfeverldn for years and the system I’d first hear a @controlfreakrecordings tune on. The incredible team there were always a joy to work with and their shared artist-first philosophy and DIY spirit made it feel like something you wanted to be a part of. 

A lot has been written about Corisca’s closure, so I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to say farewell to the club in my own small way, and try to elucidate what made it a special place - or as best you can in 12 and half minutes. In the process of making this I was reminded that scenes and artists do truly grow from spaces dedicated to nurturing people who are passionate about what they do. So a huge thanks to Jerry, Pedro, Max, Christina, the rest of the amazing crew and all the artists and staff who contributed.

As fate had it, I spent the majority of my twenties in walking distance to this 500-cap club. Long nights at @corsica.studios turned me from an indie kid into a bedroom DJ, then became a home for @cabinfeverldn for years and the system I’d first hear a @controlfreakrecordings tune on. The incredible team there were always a joy to work with and their shared artist-first philosophy and DIY spirit made it feel like something you wanted to be a part of. 

A lot has been written about Corisca’s closure, so I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to say farewell to the club in my own small way, and try to elucidate what made it a special place - or as best you can in 12 and half minutes. In the process of making this I was reminded that scenes and artists do truly grow from spaces dedicated to nurturing people who are passionate about what they do. Long nights at @corsica.studios turned me from an indie kid into a bedroom DJ, then became a home for @cabinfeverldn for years and the system I’d first hear a @controlfreakrecordings tune on. The incredible team there were always a joy to work with and their shared artist-first philosophy and DIY spirit made it feel like something you wanted to be a part of. 

A lot has been written about Corisca’s closure, so I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to say farewell to the club in my own small way, and try to elucidate what made it a special place - or as best you can in 12 and half minutes. In the process of making this I was reminded that scenes and artists do truly grow from spaces dedicated to nurturing people who are passionate about what they do. So a huge thanks to Jerry, Pedro, Max, Christina, the rest of the amazing crew and all the artists and staff who contributed.

As fate had it, I spent the majority of my twenties in walking distance to this 500-cap club. Long nights at @corsica.studios turned me from an indie kid into a bedroom DJ, then became a home for @cabinfeverldn for years and the system I’d first hear a @controlfreakrecordings tune on.
