Here’s a trade secret… ready? Line producers have seen it all. 9 times out of 10 they know more than you. They are the Swiss Army knife for production. They take the most shit and keep on trucking. They make the movie run quite literally. When Josh Rosenbaum introduced me to Scott Hinckley I knew he understood this book and potential for film. He was our first hire, he showed up in a major way. He advocated for Spokane, WA. He left his family, much like a lot of our crew, like most filmmakers do. Line Producers are invaluable. They are wizards. They do not get enough credit. Treat your LPs well and they will make you look good. Below the line is an odd term. But they make the house run. They do sooooooooo much to support your baby. They make IT. Period. They are artists.
